A year after Ontario revamped its human rights regime, employers should be aware of how the changes affect them

The Ontario human rights regime underwent a significant transformation in June 2008 when the province’s Human Rights Code was amended. The Ontario government said the changes were meant to provide a “stronger, faster and more effective” human rights system.
