New features include videos, blogs, webinars and more

Welcome to Canadian Employment Law Today’s new website.

In addition to the same great content you’ve always gotten online — news, articles and commentary on employment law from across Canada — we have added a media centre, featuring videos, blogs and webinars.

You can read the latest musings from our bloggers — Jeffrey R. Smith, editor of Canadian Employment Law Today, and Stuart Rudner, a partner with Miller Thomson — directly on the home page. You can watch videos from lawyers and other experts, or you can stay on top of your professional development by taking in one of our live or on-demand webinars.

We have also enhanced the search function. You can enter a keyword search term in the box on the top right of each page, or click on advanced search to further restrict your results from the thousands of articles in the archive, which dates back to 2004.

You’ll also notice additional search results on the right-hand side of the search page. That’s because our new search tool also scours the online archives of Canadian Employment Law Today’s sister publications — Canadian HR Reporter, Canadian Safety Reporter, Canadian Payroll Reporter and Canadian Labour Reporter. If you’re a subscriber to any of these publications, we also have a single sign-on feature: If you log in to one site, you won’t need to re-enter your credentials to access the other websites.

Subscribers to Canadian Employment Law Today, have full access to the website — with the exception of webinars, most of which are available for $69.

Setting up your online profile is quick and easy. Just click here and enter your first name, last name and postal code as it appears on your mailing label.
